Rocktec continuous mixing plants are designed to provide capacities of up to 1000 TPH, of any granular or fine material with both liquid and particle binders. All Rocktec Pugmills are supplied as an integrated unit to provide a complete package for the end user. The mixer forms part of a total system which the feed metering is a critical part.

Rocktec Metering Systems are designed to ensure the desired proportions are efficiently and accurately delivered to the Pugmill. Aggregates are delivered by volumetric or weight control in a 'ribbon' stream to the pugmill, this increases the mixing efficiency. Rocktec Pugmills feature Heavy Duty Rubber Linded side walls. These walls are hydraulically hinged and open to allow extensive access to the mixing chamber for unobstructed inspection and maintenace.The lower quadrant of the mixing chamber are also rubber linded and hydrolically opened. When these 'bomber' doors are opened the crust which forms part of the wearing surface is easily removed to eliminate cross mix contamination.

With all wear surfaces lined with rubber and hinged for access, inspection, cleaning and routine maintenance is made easy. All additional contact surfaces are lined with UHMWPE.

  • Hydraulic Folding Walls lined with 25mm rubber, with clearance to suit maximum 100ml Material
  • Ends and Roof Lined with UHMWPE plastic liner
  • 130 Diameter bearings, Double Sealed from Mixer Material
  • 200 diameter shaft with weld on paddle arms, reversablie Ni hard paddles (600 BHN)
  • Main Shaft flanged to input shaft
  • Dual motors through electronically timed gear boxes
  • Hood over inlet, with dust extraction unit.
  • Bomb-door floor opening under pugmill.
  • Safety interlocks provided to prevent machine operating if access points not locked closed.
  • Weigh scales on cement conveyor interlocked to feed.
  • Positive displacement water pump interlocked to feed.

  • 5.5 kW Grundfos yard Pump reticulated to Pugmill (option).

Pugmill discharge

  • Up to 750 tonne stockpile under luffing conveyor
